New Zealanders / Kiwis are avid outdoor BBQ people - I’d assume we use similar grillers (although our one would probably be sourced from the Oceania region - hence different models from what you’re talking about). Very informative blog about grills for sure

Question about a weber…I have a 10 year old weber genesis 1000 3 burner…now starting to have issues with the flame coming off the burners, the front main lights no problem, but the second and third burners flicker or don’t light, and just take away from the flame of the first burner, does anyone have a suggestion of what I can fix or replace-I love my weber.
I love the Weber range of grills, I have the Genesis which works well for me but I also have the portable to take away on breaks which is always great.
I mean’t to say, I got myself a smokey mountain smoker this weekend and had the chance to try it. What a great little beauty, the taste of the food it produces is amazing.

Thanks for making my morning a little bit better with this great article!!
Any idea why Weber in their Summit series, S 670 Grill, stopped using the better stainless steel 300 series (non magnetic high nickel content), and ship now with 400 series steel (magnetic, less corrosion resisitent). I was really surprised myself…is there any good reason…other than the obvious? Doesn’t seem consistent with the “last a lifetime” rep.
